In the quest for a reliable and fast Wi-Fi experience, Andrew reached out to Wi-Fi Wizards to tackle the connectivity challenges in his property. The existing setup left much to be desired, with noticeable speed drops downstairs and a notable dead zone in what would soon become his office. The culprit, as we often find, was a reliance on BT Discs—recommended by broadband companies but failing to deliver.

One of the major pain points was the garden office, where Andrew's son had migrated to catch a decent signal. Unfortunately, the closed network setup, complete with an Access Point and cable installed by someone else, presented its own set of issues. The AP was left in default mode, resulting in two separate network names, causing unnecessary confusion.

Enter Wi-Fi Wizards, with a mission to simplify and optimize. The first step involved a thorough reset, update, and reconfiguration of the existing AP in the garden office. Our goal was to create a unified network that seamlessly covered the entire house and extended into the soon-to-be office space.

To achieve this, we strategically placed an AP in the front room, discreetly tucked away in a cupboard for minimal visual impact. This central location ensured comprehensive coverage for the downstairs area. The second AP found its home directly in the new office space, guaranteeing Andrew full-speed connectivity when working.

The result? A transformed Wi-Fi experience—no more network switching, dead zones, or speed frustrations. Andrew can now enjoy uninterrupted connectivity throughout his home, even in the upcoming office space.
